I want to use different fabrics and stitches for decoration and I want to be able to embroider with it and do a hem binding like for t shirts and stuff. Do I want a serger or a sewing machine? I heard that singers are crappy now that I should buy viking or beringer? I that true?

My townhouse in Minnesota is foreclosed, the sheriff’s sale was 9/1/09. On Friday an attorney contacted me saying that someone wanted to buy the property and was offering me ,000 for me to move out before the 6 month redemption so they could fix it up and get renters in.
I met with the person who wants to buy the property this a.m. and he toured the house, and wanted to proceed. We went to a bank to get some forms notarized, and I just couldn’t bring myself to sign the deed.
I have been contacted by other services in the past who wanted to "help" with my foreclosure, and the media has certainly led me to believe that a lot of these services are some kind of scam. I have never heard of anyone getting money for moving out before the redemption period, and am having trouble finding any kind of information on it.
I’m wondering if this is legit, and would like to hear from anyone that has done this. I don’t want it to come back and bite me a few years down the road.

So, I am currently renting a room from a friend at a house that is in her name..Her previous renter was an ex boyfriend of hers who had agreed to make the house payments, But ended up not doing so, And let the house fall into foreclosure..Which then she kicked him out and took up residency in the home herself..And is now renting out rooms..It’s my understanding that the bank requires nearly 70 grand in order to bring the house out of foreclosure..Which of course she does not have, and we are simply waiting for the sheriff to give us our notice, Which we suspect wont be until spring time..But at the moment I am attempting to apply for state medical help, And they are requesting information about where my actual residency is..And my friend refuses to sign anything saying she has renters in the house claiming that she can somehow get in trouble with either the state or her ex bf, And for tax reasons during the current rental period, And or after the bank actually takes the house…So my question is, Is there any way she could get in any kind of trouble with the state, her ex bf, or anyone else, for tax reasons or anything else, During the time she rents the house out or after the bank takes the house and we leave the property?..Oh, And she also has filed for bankruptcy due to the foreclosure. Of which was finalized about 4 months ago..

I’ve been selling things around the house but am thinking about trying to make this into a serious home business.I have a medical problem and can nolonger work outside the home. Does anyone know any good honest wholesalers I could contact? JUst smaller items,, not big electronics, or expensive things right now. I want to start off pretty basic.. Any advice for me?? Riot police arrested around 250 people outside the Republican presidential convention last night after a protest descended into violence.
Around 10,000 had gathered for a peaceful march calling for an end to the Iraq war which eventually erupted into pitched battles between a breakaway group and officers.
Police used pepper spray and smoke bombs to break up the mob while officers on horseback, motorcycles and bicycles chased a group of rock-and bottle-throwing

Some, hiding their faces with with black kerchiefs, smashed shop windows, overturned rubbish bins and vandalized police cars.
Others pushed a flaming dumpster into a car with police in it, officers and witnesses said.
The riot, in St Paul, Minnesota, happened a short distance from the XCel Convention Center where Republicans are holding their conference.
Police arrested around 250 of the protesters and some have been charged with offences ranging from trespassing to property damage and assault.

my grandma died in january and her three sons were left the home. my father,her son had died and now i get what he was left with. her two sons are really not in need of the money right now so they are prolonging on putting the house up for sale. on the other hand i am in debt and would like to use the third that i get to pay my home off. how long do they have the right to pro long this?
I live in a mother in law home behind my landlord and he has decided to sale his home and he wants me to allow people to come in my home all the time. I do like this I am a very private person and have a family that dont want to be bothered by people coming in our home to look at it. Can I legally refuse?
A few months back my work informed us that starting 1/1/2010 we could not smoke on work property. I’m not a smoker but I can’t believe that they can do that. We are a small retail bussiness in minnesota. Just wondering if anyone can tell me if this Is legal. They are saying we can’t smoke anywhere on the property including our cars even on break. Customers though are still going to be allowed to smoke anywhere outside
Wow. I think that’s stupid. Especially because were not allowed to leave work property on Break. So the smokers hve to wait 8 hrs before they can smoke?
