Can you help me identify this plant ?
They are near my property in Minnesota (Minneapolis area). So far they are getting to be about 6 foot tall.

My guess is a plain weed

Your best bet was to talk to the owner before you bought it. Cut a little one and go to different plant of flower place to find out.

Rick, the plant in question is called common mullein, Verbascum thapsis. USDA lists the plant as being an exotic invasive, so you may wish to be proactive in dealing with its control.
