ok this is a poll more then a question. Where would you rather live Seattle WA or Minneapolis MN?
My husband and I are moving away from NC and have to decide whether to move to seattle WA or Minneapolis MN. So I am going to have an opinion poll. please vote either seattle or Minneapolis and explain why. I will pick the best answer after several entries. TY.

SEATTLE WA cause Grey’s Anatomy is based on there and I love the rain.

Seattle.
Why – the seafood, the mountains, the ocean, the weather is much better than Minneapolis. I’d take the misty damp winters in Seattle over -10 degrees in Minneapolis any day.

i would say seattle because i hear it gets really cold in mn?? here we sometimes get 10′s at night but only like 3 or 4 nights a year! most of the winters 25′s to 35′s nights and 35′s to 50′s days we do get snow 2-3 times a winter but only 4-5 days then warm rain? all of our bad storms come up from the south along the ocean so it gets warmer then because they are from warm california or hawaii? a lot less colder here?

Are you crazy? You live in NC and want to move to MN or SEA? I work in both cities and hate both. If I had my choice of the two, I’d pick Seattle, but I’d still put myself on suicide watch. I travel in the 20 Western states and those are my 2 most hated places to go to. Minneapolis is worst by a long shot but Seattle is still not nearly as nice as the worst place in NC.
Stay where you are at.

Seattle by far!!!!!!!!!!
its way to cold in MN

Well, you’ve posted this question in Seattle, so our answers will probably be a bit biased.
I love Seattle for the diversity, the proximity to Vancouver BC, the ability to sail and ski on the same day, the San Juan Islands, some of the best seafood in the world.
I wish our summer weather was more consistently "hot", and that our spring and fall weather was about 10 degrees warmer than it is. By the end of February all of the grey days start getting old.
And finally I wish Seattle were just a little bit closer to other great cities. Vancouver BC and Portland are both about 3 hours away. Everything else is more than a full day’s drive, which makes it hard to visit family, see the country etc.
