property laws?
i live in minnesota and i was living in a teen housing program on november 1st they gave me eviction papers bc i missed one payment of rent and i owe them back rent and deposit and i got evicted this saturday ive been giving them my whole entire paychecks and i only owe them 250 now this weekend i was staying with friends and they kept calling me to come get my stuff but we were snowed in so we couldnt but today i said i would come get it and now they are saying im trespassed from getting my stuff and i need to pay my back rent before i can get my things my question is this legal providing they didnt take me to court for eviction i just signed a paper saying i understand im being evicted on the 1st but nowhere in those papers did it say i couldnt get my things in fact in those papers it says i need to remove my property as soon as possible so what should i do to get my things?

1) you had agreed to vacate the premises Dec 1
2) you did not do so (no matter the reason)
3) your stuff at best will be placed in storage (that you will have to pay for) at worst it will be left in the apartment (and you will be charged another month’s rent).
4) to get your stuff you will have to pay as above and possibly have to clear up the arrears
5) this is not really hard to understand
