Hello. *you’ll know the whole thing if you look at the previous question* but anyway, I’m 15, I live in a tiny town in Wisconsin, where almost everyone lives on a farm, and stuff like that, and everyone dresses in really expensive clothes and stuff…there are only 50 kids in my freshman class, and were the largest class!

any advice for me?

My fiancee (soon-to-be-wife) and I are moving from Minneapolis MN to Austin TX in September. We would prefer that the move not cost more than 00. We live in a 2 bedroom apartment, and will probably be paring down our stuff to move into a 1 br. But we have the usual, 37" LCD TV, sofa, boxes full of wedding/kitchen gifts, closets full of clothes, etc. Can we hire any commercial movers to do this for 00? We’ve looked into organizations like "Nationwide Relocation Services" but they appear to mostly be scams.
Does anyone have GOOD experience with Nationwide Relocation Service or American Van Lines (Not NORTH American Van Lines)? Or should we just get a U-Haul?

I will be moving to Chicago, July 2008, if not sooner. I have never moved out side of Minneapolis, MN on my own. I am currently living with a roommate here. I will be moving in with a roommate down in Chicago. I’m not sure, or have a slight clue on how much, I should save. I just need to be on the safe side. Im 17 and im planning to move to a city to start a new life after I graduate from high school. I really want to know what Minneapolis MN is like, its economy, universities and houses and apartment?
OK to answer some of the previous messages, im moving from Texas. Round Rocks economy is very poor and i apply for many store like HEB. Walmart and Starbucks and most of these stores im trying to apply for a part time are not hiring until-which will take a VERY long time to get its economy back on track.Thats why its really depressing to live there. Thats why im thinking about moving to Mpls for better job opportunities. O and plus, Minneapolis is on the top 10 for the least stressful US cities(look it up)

I am thinking about moving to Minneapolis, MN within a month because of a great job offer. I am a person that like the weather hot, 85 F and above. I am very concern with the weather and lifestyle in Minneapolis. I lived all my life in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and San Francisco, CA. Is it easy to adjust to the life in Minneapolis? I hear that the people are very friendly. I am a big city type of person, always on the go, and enjoy lots of people. Have you ever been through such a change? I currently live in western mass….my boyfriend and I are considering moving in a year or so and are currently looking into areas of the country that would work for us- i love the savannah, ga area as well as minneapolis, mn. I am a massage therapist and would like to move somewhere where there would be a high demand for my services as well as good real estate prices for a young couple buying their first home (thinking about buying a duplex).
