]]> I’m going to be a senior in high school in a Minneapolis, Mn Suburb. My prospect schools are: University of North Dakota, North Dakota State (NDSU), University of Minnesota, Duluth (UMD), and University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I will be starting my four years off in the Fall of 2011. I’m trying to decide between 2(Possibly 3) Careers. First is a General Practitioner/Family Practice which I know also requires 4 years of medical school and 3 years of residency. That’s a lot of school (but does the pay out-weigh the long term school commitment?) Another career is Real Estate/Investments. I know right now is not the perfect time for this type of job but I would love to buy houses and renovate them and make a profit (Real Estate Investor). If anyone could also give any more career choices similar to these. I would like some pro’s and con’s on both of them and keep in mind I don’t plan on staying in minnesota. I plan to live in California( L.A. or Sacramento) or Utah(Provo). Thank you so much and all or any information is appreciated!

]]> I am moving to Minneapolis soon and will be working in Woodbury. I am single and hence do not really want to live in a suburb. I was wondering how is it living in St. Paul or Minneapolis downtown. St. Paul would be much closer to work but if Minneapolis downtown living is much better then I would not mind the commute. ]]> I would like to be able to walk to shopping and restaurants. Not big into bars and nightlife, but will not know anyone in town, so i want to be in an area the i can easy meet other people. So probably not in a suburb where it would be harder to meet people. willing to spend 1200 on rent, want to be in a safe area. any suggestions from some locals would be great, thanks.

]]> My hubby’s company is offering him a relocation and we wanted to move anyway. Out of the states listed, we thought Minnesota would be the best. We are still not sure if we want to move there, but was wondering what anyone can tell us about these cities.
We want to know if they are nicer cities or trashy kinda cities, what the crime rate is like, if they are more city like or more suburb like or more small town like or a combination, what the shopping and entertainment is like, what the school system is like, the whole 9 yards. And your own personal opinion too.
